The hotel has some drawbacks with old, tired rooms that smell musty and in need of repairs, but it offers views of the Rocket center and faux wood floors. Service may seem overwhelmed at times with limited knowledge, but it does offer essential amenities. The location is convenient for Space Camp visitors but lacks nearby restaurant options. The dining experience offers solid choices, though it may not be included in the room rate. Overall, there are positive and negative aspects worth considering.
Arriving at the hotel without the promised room was a little frustrating, but once settled in, the view of the Rocket Center from our room was truly exceptional. It did take a while for the room to cool down to our liking, but the overall experience was very nice. The service was friendly throughout, from the front desk to the lounge, although we did notice some management issues in resolving problems. The location was ideal for exploring the Space and Rocket Center, with convenient access to surrounding areas. Dining options were a bit limited for families, and we opted to eat elsewhere for breakfast. The facilities were satisfactory, meeting basic needs but lacking some conveniences.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were amazing, with a great view of the rockets, although there was a mildew smell. The service was top-notch, especially with the outstanding people at the front desk. The location was perfect if you want to visit the space and Rocket Center, despite a roach problem at dusk/night. The dining experience was amazing at the M Club for breakfast. Overall, a great value for money.
